Fate…something that is not really that easy to explain. In a way it is a purpose of gigantic proportions. There are instances in everyone’s lives where they experience it. You decide to stop by the water fountain on your way to class, and while you are getting a drink, a girl bumps into you and drops her books. You stop and help her pick up her books, and she says ‘Thanks!’; you casually shrug it off and say ‘No problem.’ Then, as you are beginning to walk off, she taps you on the shoulder and introduces herself, so, of course, you do the same. Then she asks you to do something with her after school. You say yes and out of that seemingly insignificant meeting a relationship is made that will last a lifetime.
Now…if you had never decided to take that extra 10 to 15 seconds to quench your thirst…would you and this remarkable person ever have met? If we spend our whole lives just floating through life and never taking the precious time to look at the big picture, we could miss out on a lot and never actually realize how fantastic the life God has granted us really is, and how everything in life has a purpose and how it all relates to fate.
